901 Keep it Clean

It’s the M-Town spirit that we keep revealing.

Cleaning our communities only makes the 901 more appealing.

Take pride in your community and keep Memphis clean.

You will hear and see those words a great deal as Memphis City Beautiful and the City of Memphis launch the 901 Keep It Clean public education campaign.

Research shows that a major demographic of litterers are young women and men ages 16-34. This campaign will educate the public on the negative impact litter and blight has on the city. A major goal is to start a discussion focused on anti-littering and blight and serve as a call-to-action for general pride in our city.

Participants include:

  • Mayor Jim Strickland, Mayor of Memphis
  • Coach Penny Hardaway, University of Memphis
  • Dr. Gina Stewart, Christ Missionary Baptist Church
  • Sebastian Carson, Spoken Word Artist
  • Memphis Grizzlies – Grizz Girls
