Tool Bank

The Tool Bank is designed to keep Memphis a clean and litter-free city by loaning tools such as rakes, shovels, brooms and trash bags to groups holding cleanups.

By utilizing these resources, organizations eliminate the expense of purchasing tools for their neighborhood cleanups. This is another way that Memphis City Beautiful continues to work to increase community responsibility and involvement in our beautification and environmental efforts. 

Memphis City Beautiful also provides tools and supplies for use in working in a community garden or for clearing overgrowth. In addition to the cleanup tools, we also have garden rakes, saws, pipe and spade shovels, post hole diggers, loppers/clippers, and a variety of hand gardening tools. 

There is no fee for the use of tools as long as they are returned in good condition.  

Please fill out the form below at least two weeks before your cleanup or project. Someone will contact you to confirm your request. If your event is less than two weeks away, please call Memphis City Beautiful at (901) 636-4410 for verification. 

REQUEST TIPS

• Extended times and increased number of items must be approved. 
• Tools are stocked in limited quantities and may not always be available.  

• Please be prompt for pickup and drop-off times. If you miss your chosen appointment, we cannot guarantee that a staff member will be available to assist you. If you need to change your time, call (901) 636-4410 or email city.beautiful@memphistn.gov at least two business days prior.  
• Gloves must be washed and dried before they can be returned. 
• As the borrower, you are responsible for any fees associated with the replacement of lost or damaged tools.
